Taliesin Art Group

We are a friendly, relaxed group of recreational artists of all ages and abilities who meet most Thursday mornings in the Llanfach Village Hall, Taliesin, to paint or draw, and to provide mutual support and encouragement. We are normally closed during the Christmas period.

We work in most media: pencil, watercolour, pastel, oil and acrylic. The more experienced members are always willing to help and advise. We have a programme of themes, which can be followed if members wish, and have visiting tutors and painting days out. Just check the "Programme" page.

There are also occasional guest speakers, tutored sessions, demonstrations and field sketching excursions.

Membership fees are £12 for each of 3 terms, paid in advance, to cover the hire of the Hall. This works out at just £1 an evening. New members are always welcome and pay just £1 a week for 4 weeks to try out the experience. This is then deducted from the annual membership fee of £36.

Anyone interested in painting or drawing at any level is welcome to join. You don't need any previous experience in art.
